Works with Get Console App, Cisco Plug and Play App and Cisco Prime iPhone App. This cable has the Lightning connector. Not for use with iPhone 4/4S.

The Redpark L2-RJ45V Console Cable is the Apple approved and tested method for connecting your new Lightning connector equipped iPad, iPad Mini of iPhone 5 and above to serial ports - such as those on Cisco, Juniper, HP etc routers and switches. It also works on many other vendors equipment. Designed and tested extensively with the Get Console appstore application. This new "V" cable will run at upto 115200 Baud.
Has the "Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad" approval from Apple.
The cable has also been tested with Juniper, HP, H3C, Fortinet and many other equipment vendor serial console ports that have DB-9 presentation. However for equipment that uses a DB-9 presentation, add the RJ45-DB9 Female adaptor to your order.
Requires IOS 6.1 and greater to work.
From June 2013, this cable can also be used with the Cisco "Plug and Play" app companion to Cisco Prime Infrastructure v2.0 for use in deploying cisco bootstrap configurations directly from a Cisco Prime Infrastructure server.
Note: While it looks like a Ethernet connector, the cable is only able to use as a console port cable for serial devices.
