I have a Sonicwall SRA 4600 SSL device which has a RJ45 serial console connection.
There is a supplied RJ45 > DB9 cable which works when used with a standard laptop connection however I cannot get it to work with any airconsole cable
The pinouts for the RJ45 to DB9 are
RJ45 1 > DB9 9
RJ45 2 > DB9 1
RJ45 3 > DB9 4
RJ45 4 > DB9 5
RJ45 5 > DB9 2
RJ45 6 > DB9 3
RJ45 7 > DB9 8
RJ45 8 > DB9 7
n/c > DB9 6
Can anyone offer any help as to what "standard" or not, this cable is and how I might approach getting it working with airconsole, I will gladly share the final results

To answer my own issue I have now made up a patch cable as follows which attaches to the supplied airconsole USB blue cable and successfully connects to a Dell SonicWall SRA 4600
