I have used AirConsole on a number of SonicWALL appliances in both Gen5 and Gen6, and it does work. Issues with connectivity were all related to connectivity with the AirConsole from the Get Console app or AirConsoleOSX app. Taking the AirConsole out of the equation worked (using the cables, just not using the AirConsole). Despite the fragile connection to the AirConsole, it does work.
