I would really like to see our airconsole support https and ssh connections. I plug these in with 2.6 firmware and use them as a client on our enterprise network for switch closets that don't have console or access points out in the field. Our security office doesn't like the idea that we have to telnet or connect via their webserver on http.

On the Serial -> Advanced tab of the AirConsole admin site, there's an option to enable "SSH to serial port" with a default of port 4001. Would enabling that and disabling telnet etc suit your needs?

I'm running firmware v2.65.

As noted, if you upgrade to 2.65 you should get the option to connect to the serial ports via SSH.

There are some additional security features/settings coming in the next few firmware releases.
