I have been using Get Console to connect to my Cisco devices for several months, however, it seems that I can never get the display settings correct.

For example: I use the iPad in horizontal mode, as I have a keyboard with my iPad. Each time I connect via the console cable, the text is huge, and the lines are always off the screen (top to bottom). In addition, the word wrap is too short, as it only uses ~50% of the screen (left to right).

Does anyone have a "template" for settings to use with an iPad in horizontal mode?

You can pinch in/out on the screen to change the font size in Get Console. While this doesn't change the terminal dimensions (i.e. 80 columns or 132 columns) it does let it all fit on screen without scrolling.

Try that out - let me know if improves for you.
