Microsoft .NET Framework Error

Postby PA_Jammin » Sun Jan 12, 2014 11:50 pm

Good morning - I loaded up Airconsole yesterday morning and it worked without issue. I shutdown my laptop and then went home to try and use it again. When I click on AirConsole Connect, I get a Microsoft .NET Framework error shown below. I did not do anything differently that I can think of. If I click 'continue', AirConsole Connect runs but no COM ports come up in the list. I have run a repair on Bonjour and the service is started on my machine.

Any idea what would be causing this issue?

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I think this error means that it cannot load the file Interop.Bonjour.dll. This file is included with the Airconsole drivers and should be in the same folder as AirConsoleConnect.exe.

You could try extracting the zip file AirconsoleWindowsDrivers-bin-1.0.zip to a folder and running from there.

Return to “Airconsole”
