If you use Airconsole in DHCP client mode then there are a couple of ways to discover what IP address it has received from your Wired LAN based DHCP server - either via the DHCP server itself, or via the mDNS broadcast that Airconsole sends out every 30 secs or so that contains its current IP address.

1) from DHCP server you can see what IP has been leased by Airconsole mac (printed on back of unit)
2) after joining Airconsole WIFI network, wait for 30sec and then cold launch Get Console app. This will force another Bonjour discovery again and if Airconsole has received an IP address from the DHCP server then it will be contained in its Bonjour(mDNS) broadcast announcement on the WIFI. Get Console will pick this up and change from the default 192.168.10 address it falls back to.
3) As another more complicated option - from a web browser you can try to connect to Airconsole-xx.local (where xx is the value printed on the back of your unit). If you can discover the IP from your PC or Mac then it will be in your PC / Mac's arp table.

Please let me know how you get on. We are trying to tune the frequency that Airconsole sends out mDNS broadcasts as this is the most convenient method to discover what IP address has been allocated by DHCP server. in v1.04 it will be more frequent, but that has a trade off for battery life etc.

Thanks
Simon
