I think you are in the same boat as me. If you try using Get Console on your iphone or Ipad and use CTS/RTS flow control, you may see a result. I have been unable to get round the problem with a PC connection though. I have made up my own converter lead and tried strapping the CTS to the RTS which should bypass the need for the flow control but that didn't work, I have also tried browsing into the air console and setting CTS/RTS flow control but still no coms.

I'm beginning to think I may have to send it back!

The "Console Companion Connection error: Failed to connect. Is the cable connected?" is an error you get when Get Console is trying to connect to a Redpark cable that is not connected to the iPhone / iPad.

The error you get with nothing connected to Airconsole is slightly different: it will say "Console Companion: Connection Error - Check serial cable is connected to Airconsole Device"

If you are launching a saved connection it might be defaulting to using a Cable in "Connect with". you can change this to "Airconsole" and save it. Otherwise if you try to connect in Get Console via Quick connect (plus button) ->Serial, does the "Connect with:" field show "Airconsole" in Green?

If so, and the failure message is as per attached the message you are receiving indicates Get Console can see and talk to the Airconsole adaptor, but there is no mounted tty line connected to Airconsole. This could be because you have a faulty Airconsole USB port, or the USB cable is faulty (there are active electronics in the USB to RJ45 cable - you need to use this cable that comes with Airconsole).

The most reliable method to change the SSID - After you change the SSID in Wireless settings, you need to apply the settings, wait and then (generally) reboot the air console by turning it off then on again. Wait until the blue light is blinking again for about 10 seconds and then scan for new WIFI networks. Please let me know if that works.

Thank you very much, now the problem has been completely solved.

I use in the field of plant ecological monitoring, the sensor signal transmission through the network back to the office.

However, the "Private Server" I always wish to use. But do not use.
