Thanks for your comments - we released today the v1.2.1 version of the OSX driver. It actually doenst have that feature but we recommend you get this version anyway - it fixes a bug when closing serial ports in Macwise (an OSX terminal emulator). Now that the driver is pretty good we can work on the long overdue cosmetic things as you rightly point out.
