Re: Problem when serial port already active
Hi Bill, This forum is primarily for user-based support. You can log a ticket at http://support.get-console.com/ which will then get into the development queue. A few other things: - we have tried to replicate this issue, but haven't managed to yet. I'm curious about the nature of the corruption to ...

Re: Problem when serial port already active
The latest published SDK on the website (http://www.get-console.com/airconsole) is 1.51 not 1.5.0 so not sure if you have a typo in the comment above? We do have a pre-release 1.52 version which fixes the stopScanning call removing items from the device list. I'm not sure why this isn't on the websi...

Re: iOS bug: AirconsoleMgr dealloc causes uncaught exception
The latest version of the SDK is 1.51 but for some reason this isn't showing up on the website - it will be fixed shortly. It contains some fixes for crashes and adds multi-port support. I think it probably resolves your issue above. However, you should only ever have one copy of the AirconsoleMgr c...

Re: AirconsoleMgr cannot scanForDevices twice
The deviceAdded and deviceRemoved are probably misnomers - in reality they indicate that a device is "discovered" or not. When stopScanning is called, the available device list is emptied as we cannot be sure if the device is still present. I think this is probably a bug and will be fixed ...

Re: AirconsoleMgr detects only 1 of 2 Airconsole2's nearby
Hello, The SDK will stop scanning over Bluetooth LE once a device is connected. This is to reduce power usage (see Apple guidelines). We are looking at adding an option to an upcoming SDK to continue scanning whilst already connected to a device but it would then be up to the developer to stop scann...

Re: Airconsole via Bluetooth on windows 8.1
Connections on Windows can either use Bluetooth or WiFi - the Bluetooth connections on Windows use classic Bluetooth EDR rather than low energy (serial port profile) but rely on Bluetooth 2.1 support for Secure Simple Pairing. If possible, can you try changing the BT dongle you are using in your PC?...

Re: ELMO GMAS usb-serial drivers.
The port is most likely a CDC-ACM port with a custom VID/PID. In which case it won't be picked up by the Airconsole Is it possible for you to advise the reported VID/PID? If you connect it to the Airconsole USB port, log in via telnet and issue the following command: cat /proc/bus/usb/devices You ca...

Re: Connecting to an Ad-Hoc Network
Hi Gav, We are hoping for the next firmware to be in the next 3-4 weeks. in the meantime as a work-around, you can set up the connection manually. Put the Airconsole into station mode via the web interface and select/configure the AP you want to connect to. In the profile screen it will show incorre...

Re: Feedback on firmware 2.60
The box portion of the 4-port cables is 55mmx70mmx19mm. I haven't tried, but I assume something like this would work. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Startech-2-Port-FTDI-USB-to-Serial-RS232-Adapter-Cable-with-COM-Retention-Seri-/291185638136?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43cc043af8 That cable would...

Re: Feedback on firmware 2.60
The twitter pics of the 4-port serial cable looks pretty big. Is it technically possible to make a 2-port version that is smaller? Part of my frequent use case is to connect two airconsoles to a pair of 1U rack mounted switches. The current 4-port serial cable is simply too big for me since I need ...
