Airconsole TS queries
I have some questions regarding the Airconsole TS. A. Is the length of the RJ45 cable end 1.8m? For my use case, that's really long. Would be great if there's a actual picture showing the cable length in comparison to perhap a standard 42U rack. B. Is the TS really a Mini in a special housing that c...

Suspected faulty Airconsole battery
I've an Airconsole standard which I bought around Sep 2013. The unit suddenly couldn't be switched on via battery power. Even if I plug it into USB for power, it can only be turned on intermittently. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with the battery or other bits of the unit's electronics. I'...

Re: Feedback on firmware 2.60
The box portion of the 4-port cables is 55mmx70mmx19mm. I haven't tried, but I assume something like this would work. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Startech-2-Port-FTDI-USB-to-Serial-RS232-Adapter-Cable-with-COM-Retention-Seri-/291185638136?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43cc043af8 That cable woul...

Re: Feedback on firmware 2.60
The twitter pics of the 4-port serial cable looks pretty big. Is it technically possible to make a 2-port version that is smaller? Part of my frequent use case is to connect two airconsoles to a pair of 1U rack mounted switches. The current 4-port serial cable is simply too big for me since I need t...

Re: How to bridge between wired and wireless network?
Hi Daniel,
I'm not too familiar with network routing so whatever works will be fine. Is it technically possible to achieve my goal of communicating with the device management LAN (e.g. 126.120.70.55) when my AC is set with a static IP of 192.168.101.1 ?

How to bridge between wired and wireless network?
I'd like to use airconsole to bridge between a wired network (device management LAN) and the airconsole wireless network. I have setup my AC with a static IP like 192.168.101.1 but the devices which I want to connect via the AC LAN can be of any static IP like 126.120.70.55. Is there a way to config...

Re: Wireshark Remote Packet Capture test
Hi All The support for 4-8-12-16 etc serial cables hanging off a single Airconsole is what we are working on at the moment. The release notes probably shouldn't mention that (it was more me being lazy copy/pasting in from our dev system). When fully released you will have individual control over ea...

Re: Air Console XL 2 cannot be switched on
Last year when I bought my airconsoles, one of them was defective and I sent an email to request for an exchange. Simon Hope responded that time and arranged for a no-questions-asked replacement. Hasn't seen Simon active on the forums for a long time so I'm not sure if he's still part of this compan...

Re: Equipment tested to work with Airconsole
I've tested and it works with a Dynalite DTK622-USB-J lighting interface connected directly to the USB port of the Airconsole V2.50. In EnvisionProject just set the connection setting to an IP connection with the IP of the Airconsole and port number 2167, set the TX delay to 100ms. The Airconsole d...

Virtual interface
I'd like to be able to use the Airconsole's web page to configure a virtual interface, so that I can use this interface to connect to an equipment's physical LAN port that's configured with a static IP. E.g. My Airconsole's is currently configured with static IP 192.168.10.1, while my equipment's LA...
