Airconsole and Windows 10

It appears that Airconsole is recognized in Windows 10 as a BLE device and thus doesn't create the virtual COM port. There doesn't appear to be a way to manually create the COM port from device manager.

What is the solution for Windows 10?

Thanks!

It appears some users are having issues with Airconsole Bluetooth on Windows 10 when trying to create virtual COM ports.

This appears to be due to some update in Windows code which drops support for Serial Port Profile (SPP) 1.0. The Airconsole supports the latest version of SPP but for compatibility reports version 1.0. The upcoming firmware version of Airconsole will now report V1.2 which seems to fix some issues that people are having.

If you would like a pre-release version of the updated Airconsole firmware with this bug fix, please make a ticket at our support site http://support.get-console.com/ or alternatively the update is expected to be officially launched in the next few weeks.
