Re: How to let the console serial port login

re what can you do from the air consoles terminal prompt - practically nothing that you can't do in the GUI, however if you want to do it faster than navigating Web screens you can effectively program it with the nvram show / nvram set / nvram commit commands. We as developers also use it for debugg...

Re: Feature Request: New IP/DHCP System

4) in the next month or so we're adding Bluetooth low energy to Airconsole via a replacement USB-Serial cable that has a built in BLE dongle. This means you don't need to even use WIFI at all from your iOS device, Mac, PC etc to auto discover and connect to Airconsole serial port. It means the Airco...

Re: Feature Request: New IP/DHCP System

Hi Andrew, Jaimeesc Airconsole tries to be pretty flexible in the way it can address its interface(s). The permutations become pretty complicated pretty quickly which is why it operates the way it does at the moment. I can however provide a few tips to hopefully help you make it work in a couple of ...

Re: Websockets, Android and Phonegap

Hi Were looking at an SDK extension to support PhoneGap. Were guessing that the Websocket support in PhoneGap uses a slightly different syntax than that used in IE/Firefox/Chrome which is probably causing the issue you are facing. Will have a look and see how easy it is to support. Thanks Simon Hope

Re: Fixed scrolling window

If you come across problem with the active terminal prompt being below the keyboard, and scrolling down the terminal view doesn't help - i.e. it bounces back so the active line is still below the keyboard then try to rotate your iPad to landscape, hit enter and rotate back to portrait mode. this act...

Re: Get-Console iPad app TFTP Server , permission denied

I think this case is covered in the manual, but in case not - if you are TFTP'ing from a device to Get Console file system (i.e. TFTP upload) then you need to create the empty file with the same name before invoking the TFTP upload so that it is created in the Get Console sandboxed file system. To d...

Re: Multicast video

Hi Ozamorano, Airconsole bridges WIFI to wired Ethernet, and/or acts as a Wired/Wireless to RS232 Serial adaptor. It will bridge multicast frames out WIFI interface if received from switch port, but your iPad must have some application that can understand them. Airconsole is not like a KVM over IP c...

Re: Firmware Upgrade to 2.03 ended with an error

we randomly fail every 100th firmware upgrade to keep things in the office entertaining. :) You can get that error if you refresh the page while the firmware is loading, but as you discovered it still actually works fine. Phew.
