Re: AirconsoleOSX defaults to 192.168.10.1 in DHCP Client Mo
The AirconsoleOSX app uses 192.168.10.1 if it cannot discover the updated DHCP assigned address via Bonjour. When Airconsole obtains an address from a DHCP server it will change its mDNS/Bonjour broadcast announcement to the new IP address it has been given by DHCP server. Sometimes however this tak...

Re: No Default Route on an Andorid deice
Actually we have looked at this again and appears to be different (worse) on later versions (4.3) of Android - they want to disconnect from the Airconsole WIFI if it does not provide access to the internet. The workaround to have both access to Airconsole and internet at same time on Android will be...

Re: Text very low on the screen
you can change where the active line of text appears on the screen by pressing the keyboard button on the top bar. This cycles through the keyboard being up, down or transparent. If even when keyboard is up the active line is below the keyboard bar, then rotate the iPad to horizontal and back to por...

Re: Change SSID on Airconsole?
Did you install the v1.04 firmware successfully? If so I am confident the SSID change will work fine. You will know your Airconsole is on version 1.04 as it will say so and also say "build 270" on the home page. Did you change the authentication method at the same time as changing the SSID...

Re: AirConsole as AP client
Apologies for the ongoing delays to AP Client. It is coming, and should be within the next 3 weeks. We have basically had to re-write a lot of the routing code in the firmware from scratch to solve a very horrible yet intermittent bug. Its pretty much done now. Because it is such an extensive re-wri...

Re: No Default Route on an Andorid deice
Hi Merkas, The Airconsole or SerialBot is not turning off your Android 3G. The no default route tick box means that the Airconsole will not send a default router address in the DHCP offer message, this means that if there is another default route to the internet on your Android device then it should...

Re: Airconsole: DHCP Server when no network connection
Hi YLearn, Thanks for your suggestion. The "Run DHCP server if in DHCP Client mode, but DHCP Client fails" - sounds like a good idea but we have to consider all the possible ramifications of that option. The last thing we want is to become a DHCP server on an existing network and conflict ...

Re: PoE Compatibility for AirConsole
Yes we have been looking at a PoE model for longer term fixed use - its getting into permanent terminal server territory so have to consider what the majority of our users want in a portable device. If you need to run Airconsole for extended periods of time you can run it of the external micro-USB p...
