If you have an airconsole and an iphone along with the iPad, you can use the iPad for GetConsole and your iPhone for the HTTP server. Your iPad and iPhone will both be on the AirConsole wifi network. I've tried a few http servers already however as soon as I background them, they stop serving. I could try it the other way where I start the download and quickly switch to an http server, hoping that the download doesn't fail before I can get the server started. HTTP Server

NetApp filers use HTTP as opposed to TFTP to perform software loads over the network. Including a small HTTP server inside of GetConsole would completely eliminate the need for a laptop. Couple this with the AirConsole...getting delivered tomorow :D and I never need a laptop in the datacenter again.
