I've tried a few http servers already however as soon as I background them, they stop serving. I could try it the other way where I start the download and quickly switch to an http server, hoping that the download doesn't fail before I can get the server started. NetApp filers use HTTP as opposed to TFTP to perform software loads over the network. Including a small HTTP server inside of GetConsole would completely eliminate the need for a laptop. Couple this with the AirConsole...getting delivered tomorow
and I never need a laptop in the datacenter again.
