Re: Air Console Default out of box DHCP
The Airconsole user manual is here: http://support.get-console.com/solution/articles/5000501200-airconsole-user-manual - it lists many different IP configurations that can be used. If you are shipping devices to other locations then you can configure them with DHCP on the bridge interface (or some o...

Re: Determine the byte/buffer length iOS app
Hello, The SDK example assumes that the byte stream sent by the serial device is pure text data with no nulls, strange codes, etc. It's not a bullet-proof example as the comments in the code indicate; it's more for demonstration purposes. To answer your questions: - when bytes are received on the se...

Re: Airconsole TS PoE Splitter
Yes, the PoE splitter is able to charge an Airconsole XL.
Please note however that we don't recommend that you leave the XL permanently connected to a power source as it can reduce the lifetime of the battery. If you require a permanently powered Airconsole we recommend the Airconsole Mini or TS.

Re: SSH support for AirConsole similar to AirConsole TS.
Hello - this should be available on the AirconsoleXL? Make sure that SSH is enabled in the advanced serial settings page, then SSH to port 4001 (by default)

Re: SSH to serial not working from LAN on AirconsoleTS, error: Bad file descriptor
Hello, Please upgrade to Airconsole 2.76 which should fix this issue - see here for download: http://support.get-console.com/solution/articles/5000656473-airconsole-firmware-2-76-build-for-airconsole-2-0-since-october-2014- Regarding raw serial needing to be enabled - this is no longer the case from...

Re: Ctrl-shift-6 IOS
Ctrl-Shift-6 is actually Ctrl-^ To type this, press the CTRL toggle button at the top of the keyboard, then go to the symbols section of the keyboard and type a "^" (caret) character. With the programmable bar at the top of the keyboard you can set this as a quick shortcut - hold down the ...

Re: Virtual Comport Via AES
Hi Barry, Thanks for the feature suggestion - this features has been in the pipeline for some time and we already have parts of this in place in the current AES (however the UI component is not quite finished to expose it to end users) Users would need to nominate a number of TCP ports on the AES (o...

Re: How to send keystrokes to Airconsole.
If you wish to connect to the Airconsole with a program you have written yourself (to programmatically send ESC, etc) then a good starting point may be the Airconsole SDKs available here: http://support.get-console.com/solution/folders/5000151376 If you are simply looking to write a script to send a...

Re: HP Procurve 2910/2920
Hi Jimmy, I have no direct experience but the following post may be useful: http://get-console.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=929&p=1316&hilit=procurve#p1316 The cable supplied with the Airconsole is pinned out for Cisco console ports. Apparently the Procurve has a slightly different pin...

Re: Airconsole and Windows 10
It appears some users are having issues with Airconsole Bluetooth on Windows 10 when trying to create virtual COM ports. This appears to be due to some update in Windows code which drops support for Serial Port Profile (SPP) 1.0. The Airconsole supports the latest version of SPP but for compatibilit...
