Re: Firmware 2.65+ only supported on Airconsole 2.0+
The reason is prior to Airconsole 2.0 we could handle and did have a greater variation in the internal hardware spec as the firmware demands for earlier releases were not as great. Some flavours of A-01 hardware type won't run the 2.65+ firmware, and some will. Since Oct 2014, which coincided with s...

Re: Airconsole TS queries
Hi Kwok, Re the Airconsole TS A. Is the length of the RJ45 cable end 1.8m? For my use case, that's really long. Would be great if there's a actual picture showing the cable length in comparison to perhap a standard 42U rack. - Each serial cable is 1.8m long, they are thin cables however to reduce bu...

Re: Suspected faulty Airconsole battery
Unfortunately we do not sell replacement batteries yet, however the battery can be removed as it has surface mounted clip to attach to the motherboard. However on the XL unit it is quite hard to get into it without a long jeweller screwdriver set.

Re: Airconsole - Bluetooth is off
I believe the Macbook Air from 2010 doesn't support Bluetooth Low Energy (aka BT4 - aka BLE) - only Bluetooth 2.1. AirconsoleOSX needs Bluetooth Low Energy. The little dongle we supply is a Bluetooth Low Energy dongle so that is why it will work when plugged into your mac but not without. Thanks Sim...

Re: AP Client Bridge
This is not currently possible via the GUI in AP client mode - the APCli0 interface that is created when you join an external WIFI network You could hack it by logging in via telnet to the AIrconsole CLI and add the apcli0 interface to the bridge group - i.e. brctl addif br0 apcli0 brctl show We str...

Re: Feedback on firmware 2.60
As someone mentioned above you can make your own smaller 2 port "franken-cable" by plugging a second USB-Serial cable into the USB port on the USB Serial cable we ship with Airconsole 2.0 - see picture attached..
That is smaller than a 4 port adaptor.
